what are you thankful for today?
2aday is thankful for...
- end of a long week...sushi.
- Awareness of my tendencies, my power to change!
- internet connection restored!!!
- great friends who helped me move and are generally awesome and supportive.
- moving sucks, but i'll be in my own place tomorrow night for the first time in a year! yipee!!!
- recognizing that as a teacher, there are always a billion things to do, and i am trying, and i need to put my job "away" sometimes...
- i am strong and cool. i can be cool. i was. i am.
- realizing that i'm never in danger of UNDERthinking something, so i can give myself some time off from thinking so much sometimes...
- good date--lots of fun
- wednesdays are tiring but at least they are wednesdays!!!
- a.m. mantra: it's going to be a GREAT DAY!
- looking at apartments with katie; being able and happy to help her look at engagement rings!

- new beginning starts TOMORROW bright and early. hello, 8th graders...
- Colleen is an amazing colleague and is going to help me get through the first (many) bumps of this new school year. I'm so grateful that I have her in my life. I will let her know that in a real way--with a gift, treat, something-- soon enough.
