what are you thankful for today?
LoriThiel is thankful for...
- It may seem like a small thing to most but my 94 year old grandmother was able to gracefully go with me to the doctors office for her yearly flu shot. As we drove to the doctor, she pointed out the flowers and trees along the way and reminded me that I need to try harder to take our Sunday drives. Once we got home, our friend Zoomer came for a visit and Grams was happy to discover the art of playing ball.
- I've discovered that music that has always been in my life, somehow sounds and feels different. As I was finishing my run by the Santa Barbara Mission, the song "Kite" came through my veteran U2 ears in a very different way. I needed that song today and I needed it's new meaning.
- The friendships in my life. They are endless and unconditional and mean everything to me....everything! Thank you my dear friends~ Linda, JC,, Keeley, Neil, Eric, Jane, Barbara, Lana, Ann(s), Erin, Stephanie, Evelyn, Cindy, Laura, Nancy, Robin, Cheryl!! And of course the furry friendships that I can't live without! Savannah, Georgia, Jack, Penelope, Flower, Zoomer, Mo Mo and Dukie!
