what are you thankful for today?

- A good day with Mrs. C. Feeling pretty good. A nice snuggle with the dogs this morning. Lots of cool fresh water to drink. Plenty of food to eat. The new full-time job I'm going to get.
- A decent night's sleep. Talking to an old friend. Talking free over Skype with my husband. A nice rainy day yesterday. The option for 4-5 jobs to apply for yesterday. My dogs.
- Waking up. Getting decent night's sleep. Having a few hours with the dogs laying next to me. A day off. Cardamom coffee.
- Getting a few extra hours of work in. Going to the movies with Alaina, even if it wasn't very good. Having enough money to buy gas and groceries. My wonderful, supportive, loving daughter.
- Two and a half days off from work straight. Getting some things accomplished while also getting some down time. Having perfect weather. Job opportunities coming available. A great belated Mother's Day with my daughter and mother (and family.) A really comfortable pair of leisure pants and a beautiful new tote bag.
- All the crazy mixed up thoughts I've had about my core values and how I really want to live. Shows like The Waltons, Frontier House, etc.
- Getting through another day of work successfully. Learning about life yet again. Having time to take the trash to the dump before it closes. Beautiful weather.
- Having a job. Learning a lot about myself, the elderly, and life. Getting a full time job soon with Fauquier Health. My husband, my daughter, my parents, my siblings, my dogs, my cats, my best friend. Having a roof over my head, food to eat, clean water to drink and bathe. Cooler temperatures and low humidity. Getting a full paycheck deposited in the bank. Paying the internet/cable bill.
- That I was able to be there for them today. The emergency room staff. That I was able to maintain calm and cool communication and behavior. That my job lets me help others.
- Getting to see my old high school again. Attending a community meeting on aging issues. Networking. The possibility of new work.
- That I made progress on the room upstairs. That it was a gorgeous day. That I got to see Joel Osteen's televised version of his Night of Hope at Nationals Park (after not being able to go in person.) That I am ok in spite of my finances.
- A good evening with Mrs. C. Mrs U's health improving after a tough morning. Having the schedule work out accordingly.
- Another day off. Time to get my body healthy and get some rest. Having a good work schedule for tomorrow. Talking to my best friend.
- Learning things about life I thought I knew but didn't. Being exposed to some wonderful people who are the teachers of this knowledge. Having a beautiful day off with lots of sunshine. Getting to talk to my daughter for a bit yesterday.
- Another full day of work. Meeting another new interesting person. Getting big kudos from my employer. Having the dogs do so well by themselves until I got home. Having enough.
- A nice rainy day off. Getting to see my father and other family members later today. Having enough kerosene to fill the heater. A nice call from my husband.
- Getting Mehdi's packaged mailed without being late for work. A good day at work. Getting paperwork submitted on time. Being able to purchase a few groceries. A nice, quiet rainy night.
- Being able to sleep in a tad before work. Having food already prepared, making it easier to get ready today. My laptop. Having enough: love, money, food, water, friends, family, potential, brains.
- My parents and siblings. The rewards this new PT job offer...more than any job I have ever held in my life. Being able to make the lives of others better just by being me and spending time with someone else. Keeping my home out of foreclosure.
- Alaina coming over to help me with the stuff on the roof. Find good info on the net about bees. Getting a potential job offer call; knowing I'll find out tomorrow. Having another training class tomorrow so I can understand the new PT job better. The money sent by Mehdi's boss.
