what are you thankful for today?
shushu is thankful for...
- Thankful for a relatively smooth first 2 days on my own..the ER brings such interesting cases!
- Thankful for days off together, and having a ton of fun at the gym!
- Thankful for having a week off to mentally prepare for the ER..
- Thankful for my days off, and for getting the job in the ER:)
- Thankful for only having work 4 days a week. I don't think I could handle 4 classes otherwise.
- Thankful for all the friends who still have me in their thoughts on my birthday, thankful for a delicious opportunity to eat at Frontera Grill and seeing Rick Bayless, thankful for having beautiful family and friends who embrace me with their love.
- Thankful that I have the day off, thankful for getting stronger everyday, thankful that the bf's parents love me enough to send me a birthday present!
- Thankful for the nights when I can cook with the boy :) We make such delicious meals together.
- Thankful that I have the weekend off, and thankful for all the funny shenanigans that happen at work between my coworkers..it keeps me entertained enough to make work not seem so...work-like.
- Thankful for parents that love me, schools that taught me well, and being lucky enough to be raised in an environment that made me believe that ANYTHING is possible if I just put my mind to it.
- Thankful that we moved back to the apartment. Nothing feels better than being at home :)
- Thankful for days at work where I feel appreciated, when patients tell me they're happy I was their nurse for the day it makes all the difference in the world. Especially if they're the grumpy patients that everyone else tells me to avoid.
- Thankful for brunch with wifey and having the boyfriends getting along. Thankful for fun cycling class in the morning, finding my favorite farmer at the Farmer's Market, and discovering new and awesome mashup music.
- Thankful for walks with the love of my life to beautiful Buckingham Fountain on a delightful autumn night in downtown Chicago. Thankful that we are constantly learning new things about each other :)
- Thankful for the weekend after a long week at work. THankful that I'm not expected to know everything yet, and that it's okay to make mistakes. Thankful that I'm healthy and alive.
- Thankful for patients who see how hard you are working and go the extra step to tell your manager and write up a great review :)
- Thankful for video messages when the boy and I have completely opposite schedules. :)
- Thankful for a day off after 4 days of work... and in the past 4 days getting to try out new skills, having a patient preceptor, and getting to better know the people I work with!
- Thankful that I'm developing and becoming a better nurse everyday.
- For 2 hour long convos on Skype with my dad..being able to see his face and connect with him even though we're 2000 miles away.
